Luke 9:37-38
GET INVOLVED!
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
Volunteer Opportunities inside Local Prisons
Highway Of Holiness Prison Ministries is operated entirely by volunteers. We are in the process of partnering with the Chaplaincy Department at Bartlett State Jail to launch a faith-based dorm so we need volunteers! We also have some volunteer opportunities that involve going into the prisons weekly and other opportunities that you can do from home. So whatever your gift or interest, we can undoubtedly find a place for you!
Volunteer Training
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) offers volunteer training year round and across the state of Texas. To find a convenient location to attend a training, visit the TDCJ website and go to the volunteer page. There you will find volunteer information and a training calendar which is updated periodically.
